Hunting in the Western Cape

Go Back

Hunting in the Western Cape is an experience unlike any other! We are extremely proud of our world class hunting area near Cape Town, in the Western Cape – the province is one of the country's most beautiful. The Western Cape is topographically and climatically varied. It has a temperate southern coastline fringed with mountains. The typical vegetation, especially in the western section, is the famed fynbos. To the north it stretches deep into the Karoo plateau.

The nearest airport is George*, and this beautiful area is right on the coast.

Red lechwe, Vhaal rhebuck, klipspringer and Cape grysbuck hunting are just a few of the great experiences that we can offer when hunting in the Western Cape. The Western Cape hunting area is especially great for hunting the springbuck grand slam, which consists of White Springbuck, Common Springbuck, Black Springbuck and Copper Springbuck.

When hunting in the Western Cape, we offer a wide variety of activities for non-hunters. As the areas is set close to the beautiful Cape winelands, we offer wine tasting tours and other activities that truly showcase the beauty of the Western Cape. Other activities in the area include exhilarating experiences such as shark cage diving.

*Please note that George Airport does not allow importation of firearms. The closest airport to this area that does allow rifle importation is Port Elizabeth Airport, in the Eastern Cape.
